Treat Your Tinnitus — What Your Doctors Didn’t Tell You!
Are you constantly hearing noises in your head? Whether it is a beeping sound, a ringing sound, a humming sound, or a hissing or buzzing sound? These are all signs of tinnitus.
There are many different sounds that you can hear in your ear all the time, but the result is the same: ongoing annoyance and aggravation. You are probably having a hard time living your life like you want to. If you used to want to hang out with your friends a lot, you may not want to do that anymore? Why: because with the constant sounds you hear in your head all the time makes it hard to keep a conversation with anyone, whether it be friends, family or your coworkers. TV and/or music may be something that you don’t like to do as much anymore either.
When you have tinnitus, you have it due to a underlying cause, which may be something as simple as insomnia to some damage from a head or neck injury or any number of things in between. It is also very possible to get tinnitus from being around loud noises for long time periods without using earplugs to protect your ears and the nerves in your brain that can trigger tinnitus.
You may have gone to your doctor about your tinnitus, and they have probably told you one of two things: there is no cure for tinnitus, or in order to cure your tinnitus, you have to cure the preexisting condition. In part, that is true. There is no medical cure for tinnitus, and it may help to lessen your tinnitus if you cured your preexisting condition. However, some preexisting conditions are incurable, so what then?
It is imperative to try and find out what the underlying cause may be. Some of the more common are: stress, insomnia, head or neck injury, anxiety, depression, and old age. It is helpful if you have a complete physical done by a doctor to help you figure out what the underlying cause is and what, if anything you can do to start treating it.
Just because you are working with your doctor to find out what the base problem is, does not mean you have to live with your tinnitus longer. There are several natural and homeopathic treatments you can start using for your tinnitus.
Vitamins and herbs such as ginkgo biloba, black cohosh, onion juice and many others are very helpful in treating and curing tinnitus. Acupuncture or acupressure are also very helpful in not only curing your tinnitus, but are also very helpful in treating many of the preexisting conditions that are known to cause tinnitus.
As I mentioned previously, it is very helpful if you are able to determine your base problem of your tinnitus. If you are able to, and even if you are not, you may find that while you are treating and curing your tinnitus with one or some of the several natural and homeopathic treatment options you can choose any that you feel is best for you, you are in turn treating and curing your base problem without knowing it.
